Family Fun Friday: We have more fun together

The best thing about family is how much you get to experience together.  I am from a huge family.  We get together many times over the holiday season and we love it!  Other times, it is just the hubs and I and the kids and we value that time together even more.  This week’s features are posts that emphasize time together as a family.

Five Simple ways to Spend Time Outside — Spring and Fall are my favorite seasons here in North Florida.  The weather is temperate and beautiful.  The humidity is low and we can spend all day outside without freezing or suffering heatstroke.

Minecraft Cupcakes — My kids love minecraft.  My husband plays it a little too to keep up with the kids.  I love talking to my kids about minecraft and how they are building.  (I know…most moms are over the minecraft talk!)

Borax Crystal Snowflakes — My daughter is obviously a huge fan of Frozen as you can see from her Halloween costume and her love of these popsicles.  These snowflakes are a way to use her love of Elsa to teach her about science!

Family Game Night and Mini Pizza Bar — This is a great idea.  We haven’t had mini pizzas in a long time!

Chalkboard Christmas Countdown — We are so excited about Christmas for many reasons!

Holiday Traditions with Kids — We just started the Shelf on the Elf tradition and I would love to start others.
