This Thanksgiving was our best yet! After four years of missing Thanksgiving due to work the Hubs flew home on Thanksgiving.  To say that we were thrilled is an understatement. He’ll be home for good now! It’s just in time for all the Christmas preparation madness.
Christmas Crafting and Cleaning After Thanksgiving

This week my features are all about that time right after Thanksgiving that we devote to cleaning in preparation for Holiday guests and Christmas crafts.

I love this Hostess Gift Guide from The Gracious Wife. So much work goes into hosting parties.  A little gift to show appreciation for the hostess always makes a great impression.

This Christmas wreath from Little Miss Celebration is so adorable and the nose blinks!

As usual Crafty Journal doesn’t disappoint. I think this Turkey Money Holder is so unique.

A Place for you and me shares this chic antler craft. This is the perfect addition to a home office!

Last but not least, I enjoyed this tip from Early Bird Mom on why your house is always messy.  She has a point. It definitely applies to me and I am trying to stop doing it.

Two Dishing Divas linked up these top tips for cleaning for the holidays. They are perfect for people who aren’t always the best at cleaning year round.

  1. Fantastic ideas! I love Christmas but I really hate cleaning all the house. My advice is to make a checklist and follow it. This way you are not going to miss a spot. Best regards!
