Back before I had kids, I was known for being the coworker or family member that wowed my friends with  handmade Christmas ornaments or gifts each year.  I would make beautiful ornaments, home baked natural dog treats, papier mache potpourri bowls along with cooked or baked holiday treats.  Then motherhood hit me with a double whammy and I could barely think let alone craft for other people. I had two kids back to back.

As I’ve shifted to a a different season of life, I’ve been able to craft more. I love making things as much as I love giving them away. Enjoying it with my daughter makes it even better.

Our focus is on continually growing our “memorable Christmas tree ornaments” collection. We’ve spent the last couple of years, intentionally making handmade Christmas crafts and have shared a few on the blog.  We also have a tradition of picking out meaningful Christmas ornaments at the store. I hope to continue to add to this list!

Each craft is a memory. A reminder of a messy, but fun tidbit in time that we enjoyed together! I hope you find some inspiration.

Easy Burlap Angel Ornament

This Christmas angel craft is one of our favorite ornaments to give to friends. Though it looks difficult to make, it’s actually so easy a child can master it with a little practice. The best part is that sewing is not required!
