Make some gifts tonight!

Only a couple of weeks left to get into the Christmas spirit!

I admit, this have been in transition around here so we have on started shopping and our tree and decorations are not up at all! To be fair, we had some unexpected life changes like Daddy coming home for good. (He was working overseas.) Him no longer working in a war zone is really all I need for Christmas.

We’ve been busy trying to finish four years of honey do’s in two weeks. Don’t blame me. I am the procrastinator in the family. It’s the Hubs who was bound and determined. We’ve been productive too. Our office carpet was stripped, the old wallpaper removed and baseboards removed, new baseboards installed, walls primed and painted–we are almost done! Did I mention that the space was previously used for my craft supply storage and we had to empty it of a TON of stuff before we started?

Maybe I can find an embarrassing picture of how it used to look so I can do a “reveal” when the desks are put together.

But all work and no play is boring so now it’s time to relax with Family Fun Friday!
Make some gifts

A little pinch of perfect shared these adorable homemade gingerbread cinnamon ornaments and homemade gingerbread cinnamon ornaments.  These are perfect crafts to get your little ones into the holiday spirit!

If your children are older and more into cold hard cash, this dollar bill angel ornament from Crafty Journal would be a fun thing to do with them.  I think cash angels could be used as prizes in a game!

I also loved I dig Pinterest’s submissions this week! The Elf Treat Bags and the DIY Gift Wrapping kits are functional and adorable!

We love to make salt dough ornaments. This Salt Dough Christmas Tree from Mommy’s bundle is cute!

So let go of the stress and make some memories today!
