Yay! It’s that time of year again. It’s time to have a Merry Crafty Christmas!
Whether you use your crafting skills to decorate, make gifts, or all of the above, it’s time to put that craft stash to use. Pulling out my craft supplies is a sure-fire way to put me in the Christmas spirit.
Can you name a friend or a family member that values handmade gifts over commercially made goods? Or maybe someone on your list is totally committed to a sustainable, waste-reducing, life?
One complaint I get from friends who don’t consider the craft store their happy place is that they simply don’t have time to make gifts for everyone!
Well, nobody ever said you had to hand-make everything for everyone. Lower the Christmas stress by taking the time to craft Christmas gifts for the people who would truly enjoy getting a handcrafted present. Don’t stress making every teacher on your middle schooler’s schedule a thoughtful handmade item. Instead, take extra time and care crafting the ornament, scarf, hat, et cetera that you know your mother-in-law will treasure forever.
We put so much extra stress on ourselves during the holiday season. I’m sure that your son’s 7th-grade science teacher has plenty of sharpie mugs!
