10 Must Read Books about Christmas Elves

I see a lot of Elf on the Shelf controversy these days. Parents either love it or hate it. The Elf on the Shelf can be work intensive for parents, but kids enjoy it so much that they expect it year after year.

Our Elf hasn’t shown up yet. I’m thinking that he intends to appear when our Christmas tree appears. Don’t worry. It will be in the next few days. I’m surprised the kids haven’t even mentioned Frizl (our elf) yet.

Who can blame kids for loving their mischievous elves? The Christmas Elves play an important role when it comes to Christmas magic. I remember being thrilled in Elementary School when I was cast as a Christmas Elf in the school play. The Christmas Elves are just as magical as Santa because they are the ones that make the toys.

They are the back up singers to Santa and the reindeer that don’t always get the adulation due to them.

Note that I did not include The Elf on the Shelf! I didn’t want to open that can of worms for an unsuspecting parents. The Elf on the Shelf is the book that keeps on giving year after year.

There will be millions of Christmas Elves staying up late on Christmas Eve preparing for the big morning. Christmas would be nothing without them!
