6 Awesome Kids Crafts to make in August

Let’s celebrate the last days of summer with some whimsical family crafts!  I know many are eager to get back to the normal school year routine but I am (surprisingly) a little sad that summer is drawing to a close.  We’ve made some great and lasting family memories the last few weeks and our schedule gets a little busy starting in Fall!  In the past, I’ve intentionally only had my kids participate in art club (which is only a couple of weeks after school) and soccer (which now takes up at least three days a week!) With the addition of religious education this fall, our schedule is going to be packed, so the last few days before school starts MUST have some crafty fun.

Last week’s Family Fun Friday had tons of family projects linked up and this week I am sharing my 6 favorite crafts!

I love these easy and inexpensive homemade magic wands from Niccola on Tuesday.

And while we are on the subject of magic wands, Lisa Renee Jones shared this adorable Fluff filled Frogs craft.

These bright DIY Nebula jar from Momdot.com are beautiful.

Fun Money Mom gives tips on how to make a magical fairy garden.  There is a little corner in our backyard that is perfect for ours!

Play dough is a great idea for rainy days.  This Pink Lemonade Playdough from big happy life looks pretty and sounds like it smells delicious!

Seasonal Family Fun shared these clever Water Walls for Kids ideas!  I love this!

Thank you ladies for the great inspiration this week!
