The Superbowl is approaching and I am adding some new Game Day Appetizers to this year’s spread. I’ve skipped out on the Superbowl fun the last couple of years while the Hubs was away but now he’s back–and his team made this year’s Superbowl. I’m guessing there will be no getting out of watching the Broncos play.
He often reminisces about watching football with his Dad growing up. He has specific appetizers that are “traditions” but this year he’ll be watching it with our son and can add new traditions to the old. Searching for new dishes to serve is a fun challenge for me. I love watching the kids enjoying having their daddy home instead of away at work.
No matter how much indifference I feel towards football, I can’t deny that the Superbowl is a big deal. I may not pay too much attention to the game itself but I am certain to enjoy some of these game day appetizers!
