Got a lot of cheerios? I can never resist getting those giant boxes at Costco. My kids get tired of eating them every day for breakfast so I like to use cheerios as a healthier dessert. My kids absolutely love my Rocking Rocky Road Cheerio balls.
So I collected other treats made with Cheerios.
Desserts Made with Cheerios
With an active lifestyle, my kids and I snack on the go. There is always something going on…like soccer practice, meeting friends at the park, or going to the pool.
All that running around and playing inevitably burns calories. My son is an eating machine but tends to be laid back. However, my youngest is a little bit more emotional.
My daughter gives new meaning to the term “hangry.”
Cheerios are gluten-free for some quick energy. I combine them with protein and fat (like peanut or almond butter) to make a complete and filling snack. I’m a big proponent of playing outside and kids burn energy super fast.
I found some recipes for yummy desserts that are perfect for on-the-go snacking. I hope you find some you want to try out also!
