Have you ever gotten a casserole or covered dish with a corner cut out of it?! Really? I haven’t and I haven’t given one with a missing piece, either.
However, I have been known to arrive late because one of the kids helped themselves to a piece while I was in the shower. Instead of bringing the sampled casserole, I keep it and scramble to make another. This has happened more than a few times. ( I like to shower and get ready for the party after I’ve cooked.) Sometimes, the scrugglets can’t resist the temptation.
I can’t blame them. Sometimes it’s difficult for me to resist my cooking too.
That’s exactly how I knew it would be with this recipe so I planned accordingly.
Instead of one large monkey bread, I made 8 mini monkey breads. Monkey bread isn’t the type of baked good that you can easily slice and share. Part of the fun of this treat is that you pull apart the gooey balls of yumminess and eat it with your fingers. At least, that is what I would do–and I would do it with an entire full size monkey bread. There is a reason why I go to the gym five days a week and still have a muffin top.
By making individual servings, it was easy for me to give half of it to my neighbors and friends.
Gifting #yummy treats to friends, removes the temptation to eat an entire pan of cream cheese monkey bread! Share on XMouthwatering Cream Cheese Monkey Bread
Ingredients:
2 cans of Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Supreme Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Icing
1 package of cream cheese
1/2 stick of butter
Yes it really is only three ingredients!!!
Directions:
Prehead oven to 350 degrees. Spray mini fluted molds (aka mini bundt cake molds) with cooking spray.
Cut cream cheese into approximately 24 little squares. This works best while the cream cheese is still very cold.
Cut the butter into little squares also.
Open Grands cinnamon rolls and set aside the icing.
Cut each cinnamon roll into fourths. (If making a full sized Monkey Bread, cut them in half.)
Flatten the piece of cinnamon roll in your palm. Place a square of cream cheese in the center and fold the dough over the cream cheese. Place in silicone mini bundt molds.
Repeat until all the dough and cream cheese has been placed into the molds. Sprinkle the butter squares over the monkey breads.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until done. (I had to make two batches of four mini monkey breads.)
Up end the mold over a cutting board. Drizzle the cream cheese icing over the monkey breads. Pull apart a piece and taste the deliciousness as it melts in your mouth!

Those looks great and seem like such an easy way to prepare them.

It definitely is one of the easiest recipes ever. I’ve made monkey bread before without using cinnamon rolls or cream cheese and it was easy but not this easy! I hope you try it.

These look so yummy! But I disagree with the title – I would totally eat the whole pan myself, lol! #ThoughtfulSpot

That title may have been self directed 😉 Even though I didn’t eat them all myself, I am ashamed to admit that those were what I ate for dinner that night!
