This week has been all about fitness for me (which is a perfect example of why “Balance” is my word of the year). I shared some tips on fitting in more workout time and told you about my awesome Fitbit and how it’s made me more mindful of my daily activity levels. It’s no surprise that I gravitated towards the posts about healthy living and fitness for this week’s Family Fun Friday features.
The last two weeks were slow in the blogging world, especially in mine, due to the two weeks that I devoted to spending time with my husband and kids. Now it’s time to get in gear and start this year off with a bang!
I don’t have a specific fitness goal. I don’t place too much emphasis on the scale so I don’t have a number of pounds to lose. I just want to be as healthy as I can be for my family. But I want them to be healthy too. This year I am focusing on instilling the importance of self care and healthy eating to my kids so I was happy to find these great posts in last week’s party!
1. 7 Tips to encourage healthy eating habits for kids
2. Chicken Recipes the whole family with enjoy. (Except me…because I don’t really like chicken unless it is fried.)
3. 37 Amazing and Healthy Eating Habits for Kids
4. Tips for a successful Whole30
5. 5 Get Fit Now Tips
6. Pumpkin Spice Muffins (Ok, these just looked really yummy)
