It’s been a busy month but it’s just about over.  This New Year is filled with so much hope for us. We are finally a family that all sleep under the same roof at night again.  The last few years have been difficult in many ways.

The last two years I have done very well with choosing “words of the year” rather than resolutions.  This year I haven’t settled on a word or a resolution but I can feel the lasting habit changes seeping into my life.  I don’t want to jinx things by speaking them aloud.

I hope each and every one of you have an amazing New Year with your families and friends.  You’ve all helped make 2015 one of my best years ever!

This week’s features include some of my favorite blogs and crafty things.

New Year New Ways for Family Fun

To Simply Inspire shared How to use essential oils and where to buy them.  I use essential oils in many of my DIY cleaning recipes and I love them.
I wish I was just like Sarah of Early Bird Mom. I envy her organizational skills. Check out her tips on essential oil storage. (I have my collection in a large bin. It’s not really working for me.)
Speaking of DIY Oil recipes, I would love to make this DIY Peppermint Salt Scrub  from Annie’s Aprons.
Strength and Sunshine shared these nail polish mugs. I’ve decluttered most of my extra coffee mugs but I could make these as a gift for someone else, right?
Kids Money Lessons linked up four reasons today’s kids need to understand money.  I completely agree. I am focusing on teaching my kids how to use and value money.
The Gracious Wife’s tutorial on these adorable Snowflake Wands was too precious for me to pass up. Princess Pea and I will be doing this very soon!
This week, when the kids are getting cabin fever, would be a great time to pull out the craft supplies! Thank you ladies for linking up!
