There’s nothing quite like relaxing in a cozy home while the temperature drops outside. When the world seems chaotic and out of control, having a calm, comforting space to recharge in can go a long way towards improving your overall wellness.
At the same time, being productive, and simply making things help many people cope with uncertainty. Baking and crafting during the 2020 “safer at home” lockdowns pervaded social media for a reason.
Even during the “before times,” fall was the time of year when I put a little extra effort into my home decorating attempts.
It was and is even more so now when the impending holiday season would kick my financial anxiety into high gear.
So I try to spread the coziness by making things for my home, as well as for others.
