Crafting with kids can be a lot of work. It isn’t so bad in the summer when our schedule is relaxed but when school starts elaborate craft projects take a back seat for me. But–my kids still like to craft.
When homework, sports, and everything else is done for the kids, I prefer crafts over screens every single time. But the reality is, that they may be done and able to craft for fun but Mommy is still busy.
During hectic times, I find no shame in turning to retail craft kits. They get to exercise their creativity while I get to finish preparing dinner without interruption. Win win, y’all!
