I’m loving that Thanksgiving is fast approaching! November and December are crazy hectic but still my favorite months of the year.
It seems like November 1st marked the opening of the holiday season. Christmas and Thanksgiving crafts and posts are flooding my Pinterest feed and I love it!
Here they are if you missed them.
First report cars came home a couple of weeks ago so I have a true indication of what I need to work on with my children. This is a great time to sit down and try some supplementary work at home with your kids. My children go to a great school but the support from home is what will help them succeed.
Since education is on my mind so much these days, it isn’t surprising that my features for this week’s Family Fun Friday are all education based.
Stella 123 Free Thanksgiving Learning Pack. Yay! More free printables. Helping grow strong minds has never been easier.
Hands on as we grow How to help your kid become a rockstar reader is a great resource for those struggling to instill the love of books in their children.
Classes by Beth Autum in All Subjects: Literature. Literature is my first love. Sometimes I feel that everyone focuses on STEM and disregards the importance of literature and history. Stories are everything.
Living Life and Learning 10 Thanksgiving Printables for Preschoolers. Preschoolers love to do “work.” Print these out for your preschoolers to enjoy before they lose that love of early learning.
Sight and Sound Reading Thanksgiving Writing Prompts. I know my kids are young yet. They emulate what they see and they see me writing. It makes me proud to hear my daughter say she is going to grow up to be a blogger and to see my son’s little illustrated stories.
Mini Monets and Mommies Pumpkin Seed Fall Tree Art. I have a confession. I love to eat roasted pumpkin seeds. I never tire of them. However, if you are not like me at all then this is a great art project to try with your little ones.
Thank you all for linking up! I can’t wait to read what you have next for us.
ONTO THIS WEEK’S PARTY!
