Summertime and the living is easy

Longer days and warm evenings are two of my favorite things about summer.

We don’t have to rush the kids inside for dinner, showers, and bed time by 8:00pm. In Florida, the sun is still shining until close to 9:00pm in the summers! It’s our favorite time to float in the pool and grill.

Creating an outdoor retreat is one of the projects I am working on right now. When the hubs was deployed, making the backyard pretty was not on my priority list. So now there is a ton of work to do back there.

I got some great outdoor living inspiration from our link party this week.
