Sometimes I just suck 😀 I love finding and trying out pinterest crafts with my kids. I do. I really do. Except for today. Today I lazily handed them a bucket of sidewalk chalk and two cups of water and let them figure it out for themselves.
I feel so guilty for leaving the kids at daycare and school aftercare everyday that I try to make up for it with “QUALITY MOM TIME” which often translates to craft time (or much rarer–Disney time).
But after a stressful week both personally and professionally, craft time just wasn’t in me today. I didn’t have the heart to prepare and participate.
Our non-Mommy directed Quality Time went a long way to easing the heaviness in my heart. Thank you kiddos for making me laugh.
They are an absolute mess and totally need a good scrubbing but the looks on their faces is worth it!
