Every day I am grateful for the two women that spend 6+ hours with my children and their classmates each day. I can tell that teaching is not a “job” for either of these fabulous teachers–it is a calling. Teachers give so much of themselves to their classes and sometimes parents overlook that.

Teacher’s appreciation week is the first week of May for us. We will be spending this weekend making something up to go with the gift card we’ve purchased. I can’t tell you how comforting it is to have such wonderful teachers in our school. I truly appreciate both of them!

These are great tips Herchel! I will need all the ideas I can get since the end of the school year is approaching and I’d really love to get something for my sons’ teacher. She’s truly AMAZING and you’re right that teaching is not a “job” it’s a “calling” – it’s insane how much devotion, time and energy goes into making a classroom a well-oiled machine.
