There is always time for Family Fun

Fall is notoriously busy for families.  Back to school is definitely a busy time for us.  We have after school activities, homework, open house, meet the teacher, and all sorts of things going on this month! Plus, I am going to school myself so our time is carefully scheduled out!

I love learning but there comes a time when action needs to take place.  Laura Sue Shaw shares some tips on Balancing Learning and Doing.

I complete agree with Jennifer Weinberg, MD that play must be prioritized in order to find and keep your joy.

I like to reward the family with a fun weekend or day trip to a theme park after a particularly grueling semester.  My Big Fat Happy Life has a few things on this Universal Bucket List that we haven’t done yet!

One way to free up room for fun is my making meals ahead of time. Barb at a Life in Balance shared this great resource of 50 Freezer Meals.

Snack time for us is also a time of relaxing and enjoying eachother.  Adie and Aden linked up this great list of after school snacks!

There is nothing wrong with mixing up work and play sometimes.  One way is to play these action packed sight word games from Brain Power Boy.

Thank you all for linking up last week.  I loved reading all your posts!
