Cha cha cha chia! Just about every year, my sister gives me a chia something for Christmas. One year I got a Chia Duck Dynasty head. Another year, a Chia Zombie. Who knew that these fun novelty gifts would one day be outed as a “superfood?”
These days I add chia seeds to my smoothies. However, there is another delicious way to enjoy the benefits of chia – in tasty chia pudding recipes. I’m all about healthy snacking, folks.

Why healthy snacks?
Healthy snacking is a way to keep your metabolism up while satisfying your sugar cravings. I consider snacking as a way to refuel. Once my body is trained to expect nutritious snacks at regular intervals, it will not store as much fat. At least, that’s my hope.
